Katie Lipsitt

Katie Lipsitt is an illustrator and educator. When Katie is not making art, she can be found teaching at the LACMA-onsite program, in which she introduces elementary and middle school students to objects from the collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She also oversees two constructivist-based middle school art programs at Environmental Charter Middle School Inglewood and Gardena. Katie lives in Los Angeles with her husband Mark Burton, who is a film producer, and their two kids Ben and Lucy. She earned her BA from Barnard College, Columbia University and studied fine art at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena.
