Rabbi Adam Fisher

Rabbi Adam D. Fisher is a 1962 graduate of Colgate University with High honors in Philosophy and Religion. He was ordained as Rabbi at the New York campus of Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in 1967 and earned a DHL from HUC-JIR in 1971. His poems have appeared in a wide variety of Jewish and general publications including Jewish Spectator, Judaism, The Reconstructionist, Journal of Reform Judaism, and Response, as well as short stories in The Jewish Spectator and Jewish Noir, an anthology. He has written many scholarly articles, which appeared mainly in The Reconstructionist and CCAR Journal: The Reform Jewish Quarterly. He wrote several books, and is the author and editor of Seder Tu Bishevat: The Festival of Trees, published by CCAR Press in 1989.
