Programming for Your Community

Bring your community together around important topics in the Jewish world: civic engagement and social activism, creative liturgy, Israel, gender, the Creation story, the Reform Movement, and more. Programs range from author events and book-signing sessions to moderated panels and interactive workshops and are suitable for congregations, schools, libraries, and Jewish Community Centers.

Here are ways we can work together:

1. Finding the right program for your community: Each community is unique. Together, we can work to determine the best model for you. From author events and book-signing sessions to moderated panels and interactive workshops, we offer a wide range of programming that allows us to tailor each event to your specific goals.

2. Contacting prospective speakers/panelists: Based upon the program you'd like to host, the CCAR will suggest authors, editors, contributors, and other prominent figures in Jewish life who reside in your area or who are willing to travel. We will also work to connect you with your featured speakers, and are available every step of the way to assist in communication.

3. Promoting your event: Let us help spread the word! We can share promotional material including flyers, memes, and short videos related to the topic of your event. We will then post them to our website and social media platforms and share the information with CCAR members residing in your area. Visit our Upcoming Events page to browse events

4.  Selling discounted books: CCAR Press will ship copies of books featured in your program for a special 40% discount (plus shipping). You can sell these books at your event for retail price as a community fundraiser. Any unsold books may be returned to the CCAR Press for a revised invoice.
